Programs and Services

St. Alphonsus Catholic Elementary School School offers many programs and services to meet the individual needs of all of our students.

Breakfast Program

Our popular Breakfast Program serves approximately 250 students a day, and begins the first week of school. The Breakfast Program is funded by the Foods for Kids program, President's Choice Children's Charity, and through donations. Donations of apples, oranges, bananas, marble cheese, apple juice, bread, bagels and margarine are gratefully accepted, and help to keep our students nourished and ready to learn.

The program is open to all students and runs out of the school's kitchen. It is staffed by volunteers who promote healthy living, value a healthy breakfast, and who are willing to donate one to two hours of their time in the morning. Child Care & Family Hub

Nursery Two, a child care centre, runs out of our school and has their own separate entrance. You can learn more about Nursery Two under Child Care.

Special Education

Our School Board also delivers programs and supports that enable all students to reach their highest potential. Visit Special Education Services and learn about the Board's Autism classrooms, Snoezelen rooms, and speech and language services.
